Scheduling Plants

Q: I am making my calendar and I am not really into seeding indoors and transplanting. I prefer to wait until it is warm enough and direct seed. The problem is when I pick a plant such as Roma Tomato and select Transplant it schedules to seed indoors 6 weeks before frost and transplant 2 weeks after frost which makes sense but when I change it to direct seed it schedules the direct seeing 6 weeks before first frost just like the indoor schedule. How do I make it schedule it at the right time? Lastly, how would I handle scheduling plants that I buy such as tomato and pepper plants?

A: Seedtime won't automatically change the recommended time right now if you change from transplanting to direct seeding. We only have built-in recommendations for the default way the calendar suggests planting the crop. This is a feature we plan to include in the future though! You can enter them as transplants and then go off of the transplanting time. We don't have the ability yet to delete specific tasks in a task series.
