Step 1: Add (or Select if already added) the Inventory you wish to Connect to a Crop
In this example we are using Broccoli seeds.
Step 2: Connect the Inventory Item to A Crop and Relevant Tasks
In the Inventory item's editing panel, we will select the crop "Broccoli" and the tasks "Seeding and Direct Seed" so that this inventory item will be connected to any crop in your calendar named "Broccoli" and it's tasks "seeding and direct seed" since the inventory item is seed packets.
If you have more than one garden calendar you can also select which garden this item will be used in. Our example is used in Garden - Seedtime.
Step 3: In your Calendar, Add or Select the Crop you wish to Use the Inventory In
Step 4: Toggle over the Inventory Section inside the Crop to see if it is Connected to an Inventory Item
As you can see our Crop - Broccoli is connected to our inventory item Broccoli which has 2.0 packets in stock.
Step 5: Mark the Task Complete to Use the Inventory
Once you have selected "Mark as completed", a pop up box will open asking you to input the inventory that was used in this task. Once you have input that quantity used, complete by selecting the green button "Use Inventory".
You can see the inventory stock was removed by looking back at your item in Inventory. (Our Broccoli seeds now show we only have 1 packet in stock.)
